Siemens Energy India posts 68% rise in Q3 FY26 profit

Siemens Energy India Limited reported a 67.8% year-on-year increase in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 441 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, driven by strong order execution and higher revenue. Revenue from operations rose 39.3% to Rs 2,486 crore, while the profit from operations margin expanded by 430 basis points to 21.9%.

For the first nine months of FY26, revenue increased 31.1% year-on-year to Rs 6,791 crore, profit from operations grew 49.2% to Rs 1,437 crore, and PAT rose 52.2% to Rs 1,128 crore. The company’s order backlog stood at Rs 19,331 crore, up 16.4% from a year earlier.

Business performance

The Power Transmission business remained the largest contributor during the quarter, with revenue rising to Rs 1,386.3 crore from Rs 976.4 crore in Q3 FY25. Profit from operations increased to Rs 299.8 crore from Rs 182.5 crore, while the operating margin improved to 20.8% from 19.7%.

The Power Generation segment also reported higher revenue of Rs 1,099.3 crore, compared with Rs 808.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Profit from operations rose to Rs 245.5 crore from Rs 131.2 crore.

Exports accounted for 28.4% of revenue during the first nine months of FY26, up from 21.4% in the corresponding period last year.
