Shakti Pumps secures Rs 259 crore solar water pumping orders

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has announced multiple new contract wins worth Rs 258.57 crore for Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) in the final days of 2025. The company confirmed the developments through regulatory disclosures to stock exchanges.

On 30 December 2025, Shakti Pumps (India) Limited reported receiving a work order from the Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) for 1,000 stand-alone off-grid SPWPS units. This is the company’s third project in Jharkhand under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) scheme. The order value is approximately Rs 21.00 crore, inclusive of GST, and carries a 120-day execution period from the date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

On 31 December 2025 and 01 January 2026, the company announced consecutive orders from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL). The first order, dated 31 December, is for 4,840 SPWPS units valued at about Rs 170.25 crore, inclusive of GST. The second order, dated 01 January 2026, is for 1,952 additional SPWPS units worth around Rs 67.32 crore, inclusive of GST.

Both Madhya Pradesh contracts fall under Component B of the PM-KUSUM scheme. The scope includes design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing and commissioning within a 120-day execution period.

Shakti Pumps stated that these orders are not related-party transactions. The disclosures were made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
