Servotech Renewable Power System Limited has secured a contract worth Rs 600 million from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) for setting up 16 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects across the state. The award was made on 24 June 2025.

The project scope includes design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and insurance of rooftop solar systems ranging from 1 kW to 500 kW. It also includes five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M). The systems will be connected to existing power infrastructure, following specifications issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).

This award follows a bid invited by MPUVNL in November 2024 for setting up 26 MW of rooftop solar projects across Madhya Pradesh. Servotech is expected to complete the work within five months of the work order issuance.

Separately, Solarium Green Energy Limited has won a Rs 353.25 million contract from Kirloskar Solar Technologies Private Limited to develop 11.775 MW of rooftop solar projects across Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.

The contract follows a February 2025 Letter of Award (LoA) received by Kirloskar Solar from NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited. NVVN had invited bids in August 2024 under Zone-7 of NTPC for rooftop solar installations across locations of the Central Armed Forces and departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

Solarium’s scope includes design, engineering, testing, and a 10-year O&M period. Tasks also cover site assessments, capacity planning, and arrangements for water and security. The projects are to be commissioned within six months from the notice of award.
