Author: PPD Team Date: July 24, 2025

Serentica Renewables has selected SANY Renewable to supply wind turbine generators (WTGs) for a 336 MW wind power project in Karnataka. Each turbine will have a rated capacity of 4 MW. Deliveries are scheduled to begin by December 2025.

The project is part of Serentica’s plan to supply round-the-clock renewable energy to industrial consumers. The wind farm will use SANY’s high-capacity turbines, which are already in operation in other parts of India. According to the press release, the turbines were selected for their reliability and performance in diverse conditions.

SANY Renewable has secured over 3 GW of orders in the Indian market. This order strengthens its presence in utility-scale wind projects.

Serentica, established in 2022, is developing firm dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) projects across India. It has commissioned over 1,000 MW of renewable energy capacity and is backed by a $650 million investment from KKR.
