SEPC Power Private Limited has received a Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 6,500 million from Parmeshi Urja Limited on June 10, 2025. The contract is for setting up a cumulative 133 MW decentralised solar power capacity in Maharashtra. Parmeshi Urja is a wholly-owned subsidiary of India Power Corporation Limited (IPCL).

The project is part of a broader 225 MW decentralised solar initiative for feeder-level solarisation under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0. This initiative falls under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) program.

IPCL had secured the original LoA in September 2024 at tariffs of Rs 3.08 and Rs 3.09 per kWh. The awarded capacity spans 26 locations across Chhatrapati Sambhaji, Dhule, Nanded, and Solapur districts.

Parmeshi Urja signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) in February 2025 to supply power from the full 225 MW capacity.

SEPC’s scope includes design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and full operations and maintenance (O&M) services.

This project supports the Government of Maharashtra’s target to solarize at least 30 percent of agricultural feeders. The broader goal is to set up 16,000 MW of decentralised solar capacity for agriculture consumers by 2026.
