RDB Infra, NRG Renewable to build 51 MW solar project in Maharashtra

RDB Infrastructure and Power Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NRG Renewable Resources Private Limited to develop a 51 MWac solar power project in Maharashtra. The project, valued at Rs 2.77 billion, will be executed across six locations in the state.
Work is expected to begin within seven days of receiving the advance payment. The contract is fully domestic and does not involve any related-party transactions.
RDB Infrastructure and Power, the flagship company of the RDB Group, has interests in packaging, power and telecom transmission equipment, retail, and logistics. NRG Renewable Resources, based in Gujarat, operates in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector.
