Power Exchange India Limited (PXIL) has appointed Vivek Singla as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Singla brings over 35 years of experience across the power sector, including generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and green hydrogen.
An alumnus of the Delhi Institute of Technology, Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) at Delhi University, and the Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad, Singla is known for his strategic leadership and business turnaround expertise. His professional experience spans business development, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory affairs, and complex deal structuring.
Before joining PXIL, Singla served as President and Head of Green Hydrogen and Transmission Businesses at ReNew Power, where he led several strategic initiatives in emerging energy domains.
Commenting on his appointment, Singla said he is honoured to lead PXIL at a time of transformation in India’s power sector and looks forward to driving sustainable growth, improving market efficiency, and introducing innovative solutions to meet evolving sectoral needs.
