PVH to supply solar tracking systems for Türkiye’s Kalyon PV project

PV Hardware (PVH) has been selected as the supplier of solar tracking systems for the Kalyon PV solar project in Viranşehir, Türkiye. This project, a collaboration between GE Vernova and Kalyon PV, will feature PVH’s AxoneDuo Infinity trackers, known for being the fastest stowing trackers globally.

PVH has established a commanding presence in the Turkish market, securing a 95% market share. The company’s success is supported by Inojen, its local manufacturing partner, which provides advantages such as local content, domestic manufacturing, and competitive lead times.

The Viranşehir solar power station will supply renewable electricity to Kalyon Enerji’s 157 MW solar PV factory. PVH’s advanced trackers are designed to enhance the efficiency and output of the solar power station, contributing significantly to Türkiye’s renewable energy goals.

The project is backed by comprehensive financing from GE Vernova, including support from export credit agencies, which provides competitive financing options to scale up the adoption of renewable energy technologies.

As Türkiye continues its rapid expansion of renewable energy capacity, with aims to reach 52.9 GW of solar capacity by 2035, the Kalyon PV project marks a crucial step forward.
