Purvah Green Power Private Limited, a subsidiary of CESC Limited, has awarded EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contracts worth nearly Rs 298 crore for a 300.3 MW wind project in Andhra Pradesh. Â
EPC awards and project scope
The contracts have been awarded to Ceigall India Limited and cover two key components at the Ralla project site. A contract worth Rs 119.96 crore (inclusive of GST) includes supply, transportation, erection, and civil works for a 220 kV transmission line on a turnkey basis, along with right-of-way clearances and statutory approvals.
A second contract valued at Rs 177.93 crore covers balance-of-plant works for 91 wind turbine generators, including foundations, access roads, and internal pathways. Both contracts are scheduled for execution within 10 months.
Subsidiary incorporation and ownership
On the same day, Purvah Green Power incorporated two wholly owned subsidiaries, Purvah Ecoenergy Solutions Private Limited and Purvah Power Ventures Private Limited, with a paid-up capital of Rs 1 lakh each. Both entities are registered in West Bengal and operate in the renewable power segment. They currently have no operational history.
CESC holds an 87.99% stake in Purvah Green Power. Â
