Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has issued Letters of Award (LoAs) to five firms for developing a total of 31.37 MW grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects under the capital expenditure (CAPEX) model. The projects will be installed across various locations in Punjab.
Sugs Lloyd Private Limited secured contracts for multiple packages, including 5.113 MW on 199 buildings in Jalandhar (Rs 207.09 million), 3.019 MW on 92 buildings in Ludhiana (Rs 122.17 million), and 5.141 MW on 185 buildings in Amritsar (Rs 208.24 million).
Neo Energy Solutions received LoA for 7.41 MW on 255 buildings in Bathinda (Rs 296.46 million), while Eco Global Sales Corp. was awarded 5.823 MW on 242 buildings in Patiala (Rs 228.6 million).
Additionally, A.P. Technologies secured a 4.076 MW project on 30 buildings at Guru Hargobind Thermal Plant (GHTP) in Bathinda (Rs 138.48 million), and Solizer Energytech Private Limited won a 0.789 MW contract for 10 buildings at Guru Gobind Singh Super Thermal Plant (GGSSTP) in Ropar (Rs 31.97 million).
Bids for these projects were invited in February 2024. The scope of work includes site surveys, design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and a five-year comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) period. The installations will span PSPCL’s office buildings, 66 kV grid substations, hydel projects, and thermal plants across Punjab.
