Vikram Solar signs Rs 2,000 crore domestic cell supply deal
Vikram Solar Limited has signed a domestic solar cell procurement agreement with Jupiter International Limited to source 2 GW of crystalline solar cells valued at about Rs 2,000 crore. The agreement was executed on February 20, 2026. The contract covers the supply of high-efficiency Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TopCon) Solar Cells and high-efficiency mono Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell (PERC) Solar Cells. The solar cells are compliant with the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) requirements for domestic projects. The agreement involves the procurement of 2 GW of ALMM-compliant solar cells with an estimated transaction value of around Rs 2,000 crore.
Moxie Power secures 558 MW supply contract from TNPDCL
Adani Power Limited’s subsidiary, Moxie Power Generation Ltd, has received a Letter of Award from Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL) to supply 558 MW of power for five years, providing long-term revenue visibility for the company’s Tuticorin plant. Moxie Power emerged as the lowest bidder in a competitive bidding process, quoting a tariff of Rs 5.910 per unit. Power supply is scheduled to begin from April 1, 2026, according to a company press release issued on Tuesday. Moxie Power Generation operates a 1,200 MW power plant in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, consisting of two units of 600 MW each. With this award, both units now have power supply agreements in place, enabling full capacity utilisation at the facility.
Lineage Power wins Rs 1,587 million battery order from Reliance
Pace Digitek Limited’s material subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited, has received a purchase order valued at Rs 1,587.10 million (including GST) from Reliance Industries Limited for the supply of lithium-ion battery packs, according to a stock exchange disclosure made on Monday. The order, bearing PO No. 103/440051481, covers the supply of Li-ion 48V 15S1P 314 AH battery packs. Delivery is scheduled for completion by August 31, 2026. The agreement sets a defined execution timeline, with delivery required by August 31, 2026. The order strengthens the company’s order book in the lithium-ion battery segment, which is witnessing increased demand across industrial and telecommunications applications in India.
