Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MECON Limited to enhance cooperation across infrastructure and energy projects. The agreement places emphasis on emerging segments such as green hydrogen, energy storage, and renewable energy integration.
The MoU was formalised in the presence of senior officials from both organisations. Attendees included Smt. Parminder Chopra, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of PFC; Shri Sanjay Kumar Verma, CMD and Director (Projects) – Additional Charge, MECON; Shri Rajiv Ranjan Jha, Director (Projects), PFC; Shri Manoj Sharma, Director (Commercial), PFC; and Shri Jayant Kumar Jha, Director (Commercial), MECON, along with other representatives.
Under the arrangement, the two entities will combine their technical and financial capabilities to identify and develop opportunities in both conventional and renewable energy projects. The scope of cooperation also covers policy advocacy, consultancy services, and the creation of sustainable infrastructure solutions. The collaboration is aimed at supporting the development of bankable projects in emerging technology areas aligned with India’s clean energy transition.
