Orient Solar has announced plans to increase its production capacity from 800 MW to 2 GW by mid-2025.
This expansion involves an investment of Rs 1.30 billion, covering capital expenditure, land, and building costs.
The enhanced capacity will primarily support utility-scale solar projects (65%), with the remaining 35% allocated to commercial and industrial rooftop solar projects, as well as solar street lights and pumps.
