Truere Knight, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oriana Power, has signed a battery energy storage purchase agreement with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL).

The agreement covers the development of a 50 MW/100 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) at the Heerapura substation in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The system will help the state utility balance supply and demand more effectively.

The project will be developed under the build-own-operate model. The total estimated cost is Rs 1.88 billion. The project is expected to receive viability gap funding of Rs 270 million.

In addition to this, the company has submitted Expressions of Interest (EoIs) for developing 4,500 MW of wind-solar hybrid projects across India. These projects were tendered by Coal India Limited (CIL) in May 2025. Solarium Green Energy Private Limited is the only other bidder.
