O2 Power Private Limited has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with East Central Railways (ECR) for the supply of 100 MW Round-The-Clock (RTC) Renewable Energy (RE) power in India.
In January 2024, O2 Power won 100 MW RTC RE power project at a tariff of Rs 4.37 per kWh.
Bids for supply of 750 MW RTC RE power projects with or without storage anywhere in India were invited by Railway Energy Management Company Limited (REMCL) in September 2023.
The project is expected to be commissioned within 24 months from the date of signing of the PPA.
The project involves setting up 360 MW RE power projects with or without storage across Karnataka, Gujarat and Rajasthan for supply of 100 MW RTC power on build, own and operate (BOO) basis.
