NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) for the development of battery energy storage and renewable energy projects in Bihar.
The agreement was signed on July 26, 2025, as per the press release. NGEL CEO Sarit Maheswari and BSPGCL Director Technical Abdesh Kumar Singh signed the MoU in the presence of Bihar’s Energy, Planning and Development Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav and Industries Minister Nitish Mishra, along with senior state officials.
The collaboration will contribute to Bihar’s clean energy goals and aligns with national efforts to expand renewable energy and storage infrastructure.
