Reportedly, NTPC Ltd has begun identifying land across 16 states for future nuclear projects. The company is in discussions with state governments in Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Gujarat, and others to secure suitable locations for its operations.
