NTPC commissions second part of solar projects in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has declared the commercial operation of the second part capacities of two solar projects.
The 60 MW capacity from the 320 MW Bhainsara solar project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, became operational on January 7, 2025, following the earlier commissioning of 160 MW on August 28, 2024.Â
Meanwhile, the 50 MW capacity from the 220 MW Shajapur Solar Project (Unit-II) in Madhya Pradesh was declared operational on January 10, 2025, after the first 50 MW was commissioned on September 30, 2024.
