NLC approves JV with RRVUNL for Gurha thermal power project

The Board of Directors of NLC India Limited has approved forming a joint venture (JV) with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RRVUNL) to develop the Gurha Thermal Power Project. The decision was made on May 19, 2025.
The JV will have a 74:26 equity split between NLC India and RRVUNL. It will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and operating the 3×125 MW thermal power project.
The proposed project will be located at Gurha in Chak Madhogarh village, Bikaner district, Rajasthan.
