NHPC Limited invited bids on June 7, 2025, for the Lot-III package of electro-mechanical (E&M) works for the Uri-I Stage II Hydro Electric Project. The last date for submission is July 25, 2025.
The Lot-III package is expected to be completed in 1,158 days and has an estimated cost of Rs 4,854 million. The Uri-I Stage II project will be developed in the Baramulla district of Jammu & Kashmir, covering the Uri, Boniyar, Kreeri, Baramulla, and Rafiabad sub-districts.
The total estimated cost of the project is Rs 25.26 billion. NHPC will execute the project on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis for 40 years under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Government of Jammu & Kashmir.
Separately, Sri Siddharth Infratech and Services (I) Private Limited invited sealed bids on June 2, 2025, for civil, hydro-mechanical (H&M), and electro-mechanical (E&M) packages for the 1,800 MW Panari Pumped Storage Project in Panna district, Madhya Pradesh. The bid submission deadline is June 20, 2025.
