NHPC Limited has invited bids for the Lot-II package of hydro-mechanical works for the Uri-I Stage II Hydro Electric Project in Jammu & Kashmir. The tender, issued on May 30, 2025, covers all gates and pressure shaft liners. The deadline for bid submission is July 11, 2025.
The contract is valued at Rs 859.4 million and is expected to be completed in 1,157 days.
The Uri-I Stage II project will be implemented across the Uri, Boniyar, Kreeri, Baramulla, and Rafiabad sub-districts in Baramulla district. The total project cost is estimated at Rs 25.26 billion.
NHPC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Jammu & Kashmir to develop the project on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis for a period of 40 years.
