NHPC floats tender for 7.68 MW grid-connected rooftop solar systems
NHPC Limited has issued a tender for the development of 7.68 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power systems as part of the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The last date for bid submission is October 29, 2024. The project will be executed in four zones with different capacities:
- Zone 1: Jammu and Kashmir (4,102 kW)
- Zone 2: Himachal Pradesh (1,710 kW)
- Zone 3: Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand (774 kW)
- Zone 4: Sikkim, West Bengal, and Manipur (1,098 kW).
Bidders are required to pay document fees of Rs 5,000 for Jammu and Kashmir and Rs 1,500 for the other zones. The earnest money deposit (EMD) for bid security ranges from Rs 805,000 to Rs 4 million, depending on the zone. Minimum turnover and working capital requirements are also stipulated for each zone, with Zone 1 demanding the highest turnover of Rs 81.2 million and working capital of Rs 45.1 million.
The projects must be completed within nine months of the award, and the winning bidder will be responsible for the operation and maintenance for five years.
