MTAR Technologies bags Rs 126.74 crore NPCIL nuclear reactor order
MTAR Technologies Limited has received purchase orders worth Rs 126.74 crore from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) for the supply of coolant channel assemblies for refurbishment of the RAPS-4 and MAPS-2 reactors.
The company disclosed the orders to the stock exchanges on August 26, 2026. The contracts are domestic in nature and are scheduled for execution by May 26, 2028. MTAR said the orders form part of its ongoing regular business with the existing customer.
Nuclear order book
Commenting on the orders, Mr. Parvat Srinivas Reddy, Managing Director of MTAR, said the company has secured significant orders in the civil nuclear sector over recent months.
He said MTAR’s closing nuclear order book now stands at more than Rs 775 crore, the highest in the company’s history. Mr. Reddy added that the long-term outlook for the sector remains promising, with the company expecting a steady inflow of orders in the coming years.
MTAR Technologies operates in high precision engineering and supplies components to sectors including civil nuclear power, clean energy, space, and defence. The nuclear power segment has emerged as a key growth area for the company.
Last year, MTAR Technologies secured an order valued at Rs 3.10 billion from Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEL) for the supply of equipment for the Kaiga nuclear power project units 5 and 6.
