MIEPL to build 200 MW solar module plant for CEL in Ghaziabad

Multi Infrastructure and Engineering Private Limited (MIEPL) has secured a contract from Central Electronics Limited (CEL) to set up a 200 MW solar module manufacturing facility in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
The project tender was floated by CEL in April 2025. It will be implemented on a revenue-sharing model under the Make in India initiative.
MIEPL stated that the new facility will help scale up domestic solar module production. The move is aimed at cutting import dependency and supporting India’s clean energy goals.
The company operates across sectors including railways, gas pipelines, power, buildings, and water infrastructure. Its expertise covers civil construction, EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) projects, solar, power transmission and distribution, water supply, and renewable energy systems including STPs (sewage treatment plants) and WTPs (water treatment plants).
