KP Energy Limited commissioned a 23.1 MW wind power project in Bhavnagar, Gujarat on April 17, 2025. The project includes 11 S120 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW, mounted on Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) towers.
The project was awarded in October 2023 by Aditya Birla Renewable Energy Limited (ABREL) as a Balance of Plant (BoP) package. KP Energy was responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC), along with services such as land acquisition, design, manufacturing, supply, testing, erection, and commissioning.
This wind project is part of a larger hybrid power development by ABREL at the Fulsar site in Bhavnagar. The hybrid setup includes 23 MW wind and 25.69 MWp solar capacity.
