THDC India Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has declared the start of commercial operations for Unit II of the Khurja Super Thermal Power Project.
The 660 MW unit will be operational from 26 September 2025, following its commissioning and receipt of regulatory approvals.
With this addition, the installed and commercial capacity of THDC India Limited has increased to 3,407 MW. The NTPC group’s total capacity has reached 83,696 MW.
