KF Wind has signed a transmission service agreement (TSA) with Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), ensuring the delivery of 1.125GW of renewable energy to South Korea’s national grid. The TSA covers two phases of the floating offshore wind project: the 375MW East Blue power phase and the 750MW KF Wind phase, which will connect to KEPCO’s Shinonsan onshore station in Ulsan.
This joint venture between Ocean Winds and Mainstream Renewable Power marks a key milestone in South Korea’s transition towards clean energy, with the KF Wind project set to become part of the 6GW Ulsan offshore wind cluster, the largest globally. Environmental and geotechnical surveys for the project have been conducted in compliance with local and international standards.
