KEC International Ltd has announced new order wins totalling Rs 1,509 crore across its transmission, transport, and cable businesses, according to a company press release.
In its Transmission and Distribution (T&D) segment, the company has secured contracts for 400 kV Quad transmission lines in India and 500/400/220 kV overhead lines in overseas markets. It also received supply orders for towers, hardware, and poles from clients in the Americas and the Middle East.
The transportation division, through a joint venture, has bagged a contract for deploying the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) under the Kavach programme in India.
In the cables and conductors segment, the company has received orders to supply various cable types to customers in both Indian and international markets.
With the latest deals, the company’s total order intake for the financial year to date has crossed Rs 7,000 crore.
