Jupiter International secures Rs 108 crore solar pump order from MSEDCL

Jupiter International Limited has received a Letter of Empanelment (LoE) from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply of 5,000 solar-powered agricultural pumps under the state’s solar irrigation programme. The order is valued at Rs 108 crore.

The order marks another award from MSEDCL and strengthens Jupiter International’s presence in Maharashtra’s solar pump market. The company said the project supports its strategy of expanding its solar pumping business alongside its core solar cell manufacturing operations.

Expanding presence in solar pumps

Jupiter International said the repeat order reflects its execution capabilities and growing role in supplying solar-powered irrigation solutions for the agricultural sector. The company has been expanding its footprint in the solar pump segment while continuing to manufacture high-efficiency photovoltaic solar cells and provide integrated solar power solutions.
