Juniper Green Energy has commissioned the 59 MWp solar component of its 75 MW wind-solar hybrid project in Wardha, Maharashtra.
The project, called Juniper Green Power Five, is being developed under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).
The PPA was signed in November 2024, with the scheduled commercial operation date set for November 2026. Juniper has delivered the project 17 months ahead of schedule.
This marks the second early delivery by the company in Maharashtra within a month. Earlier this June, Juniper Green Energy also commissioned a solar project at Chapalgaon, 19 months ahead of its scheduled date. That project was fully operational just 2.5 months after PPA signing.
Both projects will supply clean electricity to MSEDCL under long-term agreements.
