Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nagar Limited (JDVVNL) has issued a Request for Selection (RfS) for the development of 514 MW solar power projects under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) program.
This includes feeder-level solarisation for 234 solar plants across various districts in Rajasthan, including Balotra, Barmer, Jaisalmer, and others. The last date for bid submission is January 16, 2025.
The scope of work covers the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and 25 years of Operation and Maintenance (O&M), along with the development of associated 33kV/11kV lines for interconnection with 33/11kV substations.
The selected solar power generators (SPGs) will also be responsible for the execution of land lease agreements for 26 years and for setting up remote monitoring systems (RMS) for the solar plants.
Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Limited (RUVITL) will sign power purchase agreements (PPAs) with successful bidders for 25 years. Projects are expected to be commissioned within nine months from the signing of the PPA.
