Japan eyes manufacturing and solar energy partnerships in Rajasthan

Japan has identified manufacturing and renewable energy, particularly solar energy, as key sectors for collaboration with Rajasthan. 

This focus was highlighted during the Japan Country Session titled “Versatility of Industries: Manufacturing and Beyond” at the Rising Rajasthan Global Investors Summit in Jaipur on December 9, 2024.

The session emphasized leveraging Japan’s advanced technologies, sustainability initiatives, and digital expertise to bolster Rajasthan’s industrial base. 

Discussions explored potential partnerships to drive growth in renewable energy and manufacturing, fostering deeper India-Japan cooperation.

Ambassador of Japan, Keiichi Ono, praised Rajasthan’s proactive measures to create a business-friendly environment, underscoring the state’s potential for enhanced collaboration with Japanese investors.
