Jakson Engineers Limited has supplied 100 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules to Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) for its 2,375 MW renewable energy park near Khavda, Gujarat.
The company delivered around 190,000 Helia Plus PERC bifacial solar panels, manufactured by Jakson Solar Modules and Cells.
In recent developments, Jakson Group, in collaboration with Gram Panchayat and NeedSync Foundation, installed 40 solar streetlights in Wathar Nimbolkar, Maharashtra, under the Sustainable Model Village Project. Meanwhile, Jakson Biofuels’ Managing Director, Siddhant Gupta, met with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to discuss the company’s investment plans in the state over the next three years. Jakson Biofuels’ 150 kilolitres per day (KLPD) ethanol plant in Balaghat is set to more than double its capacity.
Jakson Group also inaugurated a state-of-the-art electrolyser manufacturing facility in Noida to support green hydrogen production.
Additionally, the company plans to invest Rs 20 billion to develop a 2.5 GW solar cell production facility and expand its solar module manufacturing capacity from 1.2 GW to 2 GW.
In January 2025, Blueleaf Energy partnered with Jakson Green to invest $400 million in developing 1,000 MW of solar projects in Rajasthan.
