Jacobs has joined hands with Terra Solar Philippines Incorporation for a $3.3 billion energy project aimed at meeting 12% of the Philippines’ energy demand.

The initiative features a 3.5 GW solar plant and 4.5 GW battery storage system spread across 3,000 hectares. It will utilize advanced digital tools and drones for monitoring and logistics. 

The project aims to reduce the country’s dependence on coal and promote cleaner energy solutions. 

Jacobs brings its global expertise in managing large-scale energy projects to facilitate the transition to renewable energy in the Philippines.
