Insolation Energy Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Insolation Green Energy Private Limited (IGEPL), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bondada Engineering Limited to supply solar modules for the 2027–2028 period. Under the agreement, IGEPL will act as a priority supplier of modules compliant with India’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) norms.
In its disclosure, Insolation Energy stated that the MoU covers the supply of solar modules under both ALMM-I and the forthcoming ALMM-II categories. These categories are linked to the Make in India framework for domestic manufacturing of solar cells and modules.
The agreement designates IGEPL as the preferred vendor for Bondada Engineering’s upcoming solar projects. The MoU has been executed in anticipation of the ALMM-II regime, which is expected to support a more secure and domestic-oriented supply chain for solar modules.
The company clarified that there is no shareholding relationship between Insolation Energy, IGEPL, and Bondada Engineering. It also confirmed that the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction. No additional rights, including board representation or share subscription rights, form part of the arrangement.
