IEX, Adani Energy, and REC report strong Q1 earnings in FY26

Indian Energy Exchange (IEX), Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL), and REC Ltd have reported improved financial performance for the first quarter (Q1) of financial year 2025–26.

IEX posted a net profit of Rs 120 crore, up from Rs 96 crore in Q1FY25. Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 1,825.12 crore, while consolidated net sales rose 14.72% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) to Rs 141.75 crore.  

AESL reported a net profit of Rs 5.39 billion for the quarter, reversing a loss of Rs 11.91 billion in Q1 FY25. Total income rose by 27.95% to Rs 70.25 billion, up from Rs 54.90 billion a year earlier.

REC Ltd recorded a net profit of Rs 44.66 billion, a 29.07% increase from Rs 34.60 billion in Q1 FY25. Total income grew 13.23% to Rs 148.24 billion from Rs 130.92 billion in the same period last year.
