HPPPL to set up 100 MW solar and 200 MWh storage project for SJVN

Hindustan Powerprojects Private Limited (HPPPL) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from SJVN Limited to develop a 100 MW solar project along with a 50 MW/200 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS).

The project can be located anywhere in India. It includes setting up a dedicated transmission network up to the delivery point to supply power to SJVN.

As per the terms, HPPPL will handle land identification, installation, ownership, connectivity, and approvals, including ISTS interconnection. SJVN will sign a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with HPPPL.
