Hindustan Power signs PPA for 435 MW solar project in Uttar Pradesh

Hindustan Power will supply electricity from a 435 MW direct current solar PV plant in Uttar Pradesh under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited.

The company has begun on-site work and opened a project office at the location. UPPCL awarded the contract through a competitive tender in April 2025.

Ratul Puri, chairman of Hindustan Power, said the company is advancing its site development and stakeholder coordination to ensure timely execution. He noted that the project supports Uttar Pradesh’s goal of economic growth and reflects the company’s focus on reliable renewable energy.

Hindustan Power is an integrated power generation firm specialising in renewable and transitional energy solutions.
