Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu recently reviewed the progress of ongoing energy projects and emphasized the State Government’s focus on expanding green energy initiatives.Â
He highlighted the development of a one MW Green Hydrogen Project in Nalagarh, Solan district, and the commissioning of a 32 MW Solar Power Project in Pekhubela, Una district, in just six months. Additionally, two more solar projects are under construction in Una and will be dedicated soon.
The Chief Minister instructed HPSEBL to begin the construction of the Devi Kothi and Hail Power Projects immediately.
The review also covered high-priority cases pending in courts, including those involving JSW, Shanan, and the BBMB arrears. The CM emphasized the need for swift action on these cases and the acceleration of pump storage projects. Key officials from the Energy Department and related sectors attended the meeting.
