Author: PPD Team Date: 31/12/2024 Longroad Energy has signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Meta for the entire output of its 300 MWac 1000 Mile solar project in Yoakum County, Texas. The energy produced will be supplied to the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) grid and support Meta’s data center operations. The 1000 Mile solar project, Longroad’s first in the SPP region, is expected to commence commercial operations in 2026.
