GREW Solar has secured a repeat order to supply 550 MW of solar modules to a leading Independent Power Producer. The company said the order reflects continued developer confidence in its manufacturing capacity and delivery performance for utility scale solar projects in India.

GREW Solar is part of the Chiripal Group and has been expanding its manufacturing base to meet rising demand from India’s clean energy push. The company currently operates a 3 GW solar module manufacturing facility at Dudu in Rajasthan and is in the process of expanding this capacity to 11 GW. It is also setting up a solar cell manufacturing plant at Narmadapuram in Madhya Pradesh, with plans to scale cell capacity to 8 GW by the end of 2026.

Commenting on the order, Chief Executive Officer and Director Vinay Thadani said it validates the company’s manufacturing strategy and execution discipline. He added that domestic solar manufacturing is expected to play a key role in strengthening India’s long term energy security and sustainability objectives under the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.

GREW Solar began operations in 2022 and has scaled up rapidly over the past few years. The company manufactures high efficiency M10 TOPCon modules with power ratings of up to 590 Wp. It is investing in advanced manufacturing processes, in house research and development, and backward integration to align with Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) requirements, which are expected to be enforced from June this year.
