Greenzo Energy India (GEIL) will collaborate with France’s EODev to introduce hydrogen fuel cell power generators in India.
Under the 20-year partnership, GEIL will distribute EODev’s zero-emission generators, provide maintenance services, and locally assemble EODev products.
GEIL will also serve as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and strategic partner for EODev.
The alliance will bring Toyota’s hydrogen fuel cell technology to South Asia. These generators convert hydrogen into electricity and water, offering a zero-emissions alternative to diesel generators commonly used in telecom towers, data centres, and transportation.
GEIL and EODev plan to invest Rs 2 billion initially in setting up the facility, with plans to scale up to Rs 10 billion within two years.
