GPS Renewables partners with BGTS to introduce Varibull paddle agitators in India

GPS Renewables and its subsidiary Proweps have partnered with Biogastechnik Süd GmbH (BGTS) to bring Varibull paddle agitators to the Indian market. The collaboration is aimed at improving the efficiency of biogas plants and reducing costs for compressed biogas (CBG) developers.
As part of the arrangement, GPS Renewables will integrate BGTS’s paddle agitator technology into its turnkey plant solutions and OptiMaxx equipment portfolio. The agitators will be manufactured at the company’s facility in Bengaluru, with plans to also explore export opportunities.
GPS Renewables has been expanding its capabilities in waste-to-biogas solutions. In August 2023, the company acquired German-based Proweps Envirotech GmbH, which develops biogas technology for municipal, industrial, and agricultural waste.
