GE Vernova T&D India Ltd reported a significant rise in order inflows for Q2 FY25, reaching Rs 46.82 billion, over four times the Rs 10.82 billion recorded in Q2 FY24.
For the first half of FY25 (April-September), orders grew by 173 per cent to Rs 57.11 billion from Rs 20.88 billion in H1 FY24, with domestic orders accounting for 53 per cent.
As of September 30, 2024, GE Vernova’s order book stood at Rs 98.36 billion, with 62 per cent from private sector entities, 32 per cent from central utilities and PSUs, and 6 per cent from state utilities.
Key orders included high-voltage equipment for Grid Solutions SAS and Middle East FZE, projects for Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL), Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd, and international clients such as Energinet and ElectraNet Australia.
Notable Q2 projects commissioned included a World Bank-funded substation for JUSNL Mahuadarn, transformers and reactors for PGCIL’s Bhadla and Doosan projects, and infrastructure for Hindalco at Jharsuguda, Odisha.
Managing Director & CEO, Sandeep Zanzaria, highlighted the strong quarterly performance and record order backlog, positioning the company for future growth as India progresses toward its 2030 renewable capacity target of 500 GW.
