FTC Solar to supply solar trackers for 1 GW Dunlieh Energy projects

FTC Solar has signed a supply agreement with US-based Dunlieh Energy to provide solar tracker systems for over 1 GW of solar projects. The collaboration’s first project, the 500 MW Situla energy project in Banner County, Nebraska, will feature solar and battery storage and is expected to create over 225 local construction jobs, generating more than $1.4 million annually in nameplate capacity taxes.

Tracker deliveries for the Situla project are set to begin in the second half of 2025. Dunlieh Energy CEO Thaer Flieh emphasized FTC Solar’s efficient and high-quality tracker technology, ideal for the Situla project and future developments. FTC Solar president Yann Brandt expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting FTC’s versatile 1P and 2P tracker products that will optimize each site.

This agreement builds on FTC Solar’s recent partnerships with Strata Clean Energy and Sandhills Energy. In September 2024, Strata selected FTC to supply 500 MW of its Voyager 2P trackers, with FTC serving as Strata’s preferred supplier over an initial three-year term. FTC will also provide its Pioneer 1P trackers to Sandhills Energy for 1 GW of projects across Nebraska.
