Fibe has launched a new rooftop solar financing solution aimed at middle-income households, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The digital lending platform is offering collateral-free loans of up to Rs 500,000 for residential rooftop solar systems.
This new offering is designed to make solar more affordable. It covers 100 per cent of the project cost—including panels, installation, and other expenses. The entire application process is digital, with loans disbursed in under 15 minutes.
The loans are open to salaried individuals aged 19 to 60 and self-employed individuals aged 23 to 65. Fibe has also extended eligibility to blood relatives of property owners. This initiative is designed to assist families residing in shared or ancestral homes in accessing financing.
There are no hidden fees or foreclosure charges.
The company is actively expanding its reach in smaller cities by collaborating with solar manufacturers and service providers to enhance distribution. With this new product, the company has partnered with over 100 engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solar firms.
Fibe’s solar financing solution is part of a larger push to support India’s clean energy goals by making solar more accessible to underserved households.
