Envision Energy Group has formed a strategic partnership with SUN Terra to build a full-scale energy storage ecosystem across Southeast Asia, India, and Australia. The collaboration will advance deployment of energy storage system (ESS) technologies and strengthen regional supply chains.
The partnership covers procurement, distribution, local assembly, technology licensing, and solution delivery. Envision and SUN Terra plan to operate across the ESS value chain to speed up deployment and improve market access.
Localised manufacturing is central to the partnership. By producing ESS solutions closer to end users, the companies aim to cut costs, reduce logistical risks, and adapt products to regional energy needs. This localisation could encourage faster adoption of renewable energy.
SUN Terra, part of Indonesia’s Sinar Mas group, provides integrated renewable energy and storage solutions. The company has experience in battery lifecycle management and has developed large-scale solar projects in India, Indonesia, and Australia.
