EliTe Solar plans Investment in 8 GW solar manufacturing hub in Egypt

EliTe Solar has announced plans to invest over $150 million in building an 8 GW solar manufacturing hub in Egypt’s Suez Special Economic Zone. The facility, spanning 78,000 square meters, will focus on producing high-efficiency solar cells and assembling modules, with a significant portion of the output intended for export to key markets, including the US.

The project will be completed in two phases, with the initial phase establishing a 2 GW solar cell production line by September 2025. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to generate annual sales exceeding $190 million.
