EESL, RajCOMP ink pact to promote energy efficiency in Rajasthan

Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) has signed an agreement with RajCOMP Info Services Ltd (RISL) to promote energy efficiency and enhance public service delivery in Rajasthan. Under this partnership, EESL will offer UJALA products and services through RISL’s e-Mitra portal.

This collaboration leverages the extensive e-Mitra network to promote energy-efficient solutions across the state. EESL, under the Ministry of Power (MoP), and RISL, under the Department of Information Technology & Communications (DOIT&C), will facilitate the sale of UJALA products through e-Mitra kiosks and promote EESL’s online marketplace, EESLMart.

Utilizing the e-Mitra network, energy-efficient solutions like LED lighting and efficient cooling systems will be accessible even in remote areas. This initiative aims to reduce energy consumption, lower electricity bills, contribute to a greener environment, and generate employment opportunities.

Vestas and Fortum settle arbitration over Russian wind energy projects

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas and Nordic energy company Fortum have settled their arbitration dispute regarding wind energy projects in Russia.
