Order book at Rs 3,498 crore: Diamond Power eyes long-term power sector upcycle

Diamond Power Infrastructure reported strong growth in revenue and profitability for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026, supported by demand from power infrastructure, renewable energy, transmission, distribution and data centre sectors.

For FY26, revenue from operations rose 71% year-on-year to Rs 1,911 crore from Rs 1,115.39 crore in FY25. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 243% to Rs 231.62 crore compared to Rs 67.57 crore in the previous year.

Profit after tax (PAT) grew 355% to Rs 158.17 crore from Rs 34.74 crore in FY25. EBITDA margin improved to 12.1% from 6.1%, while earnings per share (EPS) increased to Rs 3 from Rs 0.66. Gross margin rose 117% to Rs 380.46 crore.

During Q4 FY26, the company reported revenue of Rs 695.87 crore, up 108% year-on-year. EBITDA increased 506% to Rs 84.72 crore, while PAT rose 691% to Rs 60.61 crore. Gross margin for the quarter stood at Rs 129.80 crore.

The company stated that its revenue order book stood at around Rs 3,498 crore at the end of FY26.

Among the operational developments during the year, the company expanded its extra high voltage (EHV) cable capability up to 400 kV and strengthened backward integration from rods to finished cables at its integrated manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat.

The company also highlighted its advanced conductor portfolio, including AL-59, high temperature low sag (HTLS), TS and mineral value chain conductor (MVCC) technologies. It further noted the presence of National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL)-accredited testing infrastructure, including a 700 kV testing facility.

The management described FY26 as a transformational year marked by growth across financial and operational parameters. The company said India’s power infrastructure sector is entering a long-term growth cycle driven by renewable energy additions, grid modernisation, underground cabling, railway electrification, smart distribution systems and data centre expansion.

Diamond Power Infrastructure manufactures low voltage (LV), medium voltage (MV), high voltage (HV) and EHV cables, along with conductors catering to utilities, renewable energy projects, infrastructure and industrial applications in domestic and export markets.
